Nominations

The recipient will be chosen by the Trustees on the basis of nominations solicited primarily from the non-profit, non-govermental organizations worldwide. The next deadline for receipt of nominations is 2 March 2009.

Solicited nominations should be in writing and include:

• The Nomination Form, including the candidate's exact name and address, phone, fax and email, if available.
• A brief description of the acts to be honored (500 words or less).
• The names and addresses of several references.
• Any convenient documentary verification.
